Prototyping and Build Services

Vale Industrial Design offers a complete build service, developed specifically for mechanical and electromechanical hardware prototyping and proving concept functionality. The build service can be used as a standalone offering to those developing their own solutions, or it can be built into a full development process through us.

Included:

  • Engineering workshop and assembly

  • Dedicated electronics and mechanical assembly areas

  • In-house FDM 3D printing, milling and turning capabilities for 1-off components

  • Close ties with local fabricators and machine shops

Proof of concept models and prototyping is all about ironing out problems, learning from theories and applying them in real life without committing to high expenses like new tool design and minimum batch orders. This is one-off production, completed with speed and low budgets in mind.

  • Scale models can be developed to prove certain product characteristics and functions such as particular mechanisms or part inteferences

  • Cost effective, fast development ensures rapid design iteration and progression

  • Processes include workshop methods with hand tools, 3D printing, fabrication and machining.
